A dirk is a specific kind of short dagger which was worn by the Highlanders of Scotland and Ireland. It was usually ornate with cairngorms or other stones set as a pommel in the head of the handle. Traditionally a dirk lacked the hand guard.
This fine piece is a fine replica to the original ones. Observe the triangularly shaped 420 stainless steel blade! It is made reflecting the Damascus style and bears a notched edge. The handle and the scabbard are true works of art with carved ornaments and patina effects.
