Carved of wood and antiqued so as to possess an aged appearance, this beautiful chest herb chest is a fantastic addition to any altar or kitchen. Its top features a fantastically carved central, interwoven pentagram bordered by a pattern of smaller pentacles and Celtic knots This carving has been brought to vivid life by a cream-colored paint that appears as though it may have been worn away from the rest of the surface from time and use; an effect of the antiquing methods used in its creation. On both its left and right sides you`ll find metal inlays of pentagrams, riveted to the surface and seemingly sheltering the remnants of paint in the same manner as the upper carvings. In a similar manner, the front surface is decorated with four wooden drawers, decorated with patterns of metal inlays and antiqued paint.
Each drawer opens with a pull ring to reveal a 3 1/4" wide, 4" long, and 1 1/4" tall space for the storage of your favorite herbs, jewelry, or ritual tools. All of this is built into a tall chest standing 6" tall, 10" wide, and 6" deep. With such attention to detail, each is a unique piece perfect for your sacred space.
